Sze Ching Lee was born in Malaysia and from a young age has shown an inclination for the stage. She officially started dance training at 8 years old under the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, and has recently completed her Advance 1 examination with distinction.

At high school, Sze Ching encountered Chinese cultural dance and trained under Justin Wong, one of the most innovative and leading Chinese cultural dance teachers in Malaysia. Sze Ching fell in love with the grace and emotional intensity of the dance style. After school, she became a member of Han Feng dance troupe, a dance company founded by Wong and participated in state and nation-wide group dance competitions, of which they won many awards. One of the notable moments of her dance career was performing for the members of the Parliamentary cabinet for the Chinese New Year Gala in 2007. Occasionally, she choreographs and teaches dance in schools.

In 2005, Sze Ching came to Melbourne to pursue a Creative Arts degree at The University of Melbourne. She met Sabrina at the Buddha's Day festival in 2006 and since then became a member of Sabrina Dance Troupe. While studying in university, she was also a dancer and choreographer of Flaredance Ensemble, a University of Melbourne affiliated dance group and was active involved in student stage productions.

Sze Ching aspires for a career in the arts and culture industry. Currently she works in Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery in Melbourne and continues to perform for SDT.
