The Sabrina Dance Troupe was formed by Ms Sabrina Chou and associates with the primary aim of introducing and promoting traditional Chinese culture and dances.
Since its inception in 2001, many talented professionals in the fields of dance, Chinese opera, martial arts, singing and calligraphy with the similar objectives have joined from Taiwan, Shanghai, Beijing, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
Secondary to its primary aim for incorporation is to allow the general public to enjoy and experience the vibrant, exotic and exciting other Asian culture and dances in addition to Chinese culture and dances. Although China and India dominate the continent of Asia, Chinese influence can be seen in dances and cultures of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Burma, Korea, Japan, Mongolia to name a few mainly because of the onset and spread of Buddhism.
